Founded by Coping With Laryngomalacia, Inc. in 2015, World Airway Disorders Day is dedicated to raising global awareness, fostering support, and promoting education about airway disorders.
Every July 10, participants are invited to paint their nails light blue to start the conversation that noisy breathing is never normal.
This year, we are excited to introduce our event theme, "Blooming with Every Breath."
This theme holds profound significance as it symbolizes our families' unique journey.
Like a diverse garden, each family's story reflects resilience, where beautiful flowers—representing hope and strength—bloom despite the storms they have faced.
On July 10, in addition to painting your nails light blue, we encourage families to plant flowers to honor their personal journeys with airway disorders.
These flowers will serve as a living tribute to the struggles and triumphs every family experiences, reminding us all of the beauty that can emerge in our lives, even in the face of difficulty.
